Kama Sutra (also called Kama Sutra Records) was the record label of parent company Kama Sutra Records, Inc.. The company was started by Artie Ripp, Hy Mizrahi, and Phil Steinberg who also ran Kama Sutra Productions, Inc.. The label was initially launched with the help of an ex-MGM executive named Art Kass who secured a distribution arrangement for the label with MGM Records.
