Talkin' Loud
41 releases
Talkin’ Loud was founded by DJs [a8278] and [a10267] in 1990.
The label’s name was based on Peterson’s and [a67717]’s Sunday afternoon club session, “Talkin’ Loud And Sayin’ Somethin’” - better known amongst its patrons as simply “Dingwalls,” which was the name of the venue at the time in Camden, London - during the 1980s.
Gilles ran the label for over a decade with [a=Paul Martin] before he left the label in 2001.
Versions of the original releases were later re-released by parent label Mercury under the [l123224] branding.
