Basic Beat is a Dutch independant record company which was started in 1992 by Ron Hofland and Ronald Molendijk. Throughout the years Basic Beat released numerous vinyls, CDs, digital releases and some DVDs. Several worldwide hits such as "Instant Moments" by R.O.O.S., "Turn It Around" by Alena, "The Silmarilla" by Carlos, and "New York New York" by Lemon8 were released on Basic Beat or one of it's many sublabels.
