Mocha
Real Name: Aleesha E. Richards
Mocha (born Aleesha Richards) was a former rapper featured Nicole Wray’s top ten Billboard hit “Make It Hot” in 1998. Following that single, she would go on to guest appear on other singers and rappers’ singles including Missy Elliott’s “Hit Em Wit Da Hee”, DJ Clue’s “I Like Control”, and Sporty Thievez’s “Even Cheaper”. She recorded an album titled “Bella Mafia” on Elliott’s Goldmind Inc label but it was never released.
In 2005, she released her two books "Cash Money" and "Concrete Jungle" both under the author alias AJ Rivers. In 2007, she released a limited edition independent album called “One Day at a Time”. Shortly after its release, she retired from music. She is now the owner of [i]Mo's Sweet Minis[/i], a bakery located in Richmond, Virginia. She has also used the alias Mo Robinson.
