In the fall of 2002, everyone was wondering if the unprecedented trance boom was finally going to die down. But then DJ KOUSUKE, aka 'ORIENTAL SPACE', appeared like a comet. It is no exaggeration to say that his arrival made the boom not just a passing fad, but a so-called "standard genre" in the Japanese club scene, comparable to Eurobeat, R&B, and dancra.

As soon as his first album "GREED ISLAND" was released, the track "LAPUTA" was played heavily on TV, radio, clubs, and cable broadcasting, and won first place on ZIP FM's "DANCE HITS" and "BEAT FREAK" and Nippon TV's "Tokyo Club Gang," sweeping the dance charts. The album sold more than 30,000 copies, and an Oriental Space whirlwind swept across Japan.

In February 2003, he released his second album "ALEXANDRITE." The album title "ALEXANDRITE" was a big hit. His songs were included in the popular CDs "TOKYO RAVE" and "TRANCE RAVE", proving the greatness of his original songs, not just covers, and the album was ranked on the Oricon chart.

In December 2003, he released his third album "PLATINUM". His original song "SCORPION" became a big hit at the club, and his stable song production was recognized as a staple of club sound. Unlike other artists, he covered all genres of 4 beats, including not only trance but also hard house, techno, and new energy, showing his depth as a creator.
