US mastering and lacquer cutting engineer.
Larry started his career with Richard Perry. He found, built and engineered Studio 55 for Richard Perry. Studio 55 had been the original Decca Studio , White Christmas was recorded there! It was built for Bing Crosby. He built Precision Lacquer in 1980, later called Precision Mastering. The first record he mastered was Stevie Wonder's "Hotter Than July" He hired Arnie Acosta as the first mastering engineer. His lacquer cuts can be identified by "PRECISION LACQUER-LE" or "PL-LE" He also founded a coffee company which roasts millions of pounds of specialty grade coffee.
