Performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, Doug Watkins, Kenny Dorham, [a12633], Freddie Hubbard, [a252308], [a257028], and "Philly" Joe Jones, among others. He recorded more than two dozen albums as a leader from 1955 to 1972.
